Fear can be crippling. I have learned that fear of failing, fear of what others think, fear of relapsing, fear of not living up to my own expectations is crippling. It stops us from living up to our potential.
I have learned that the more I let go of the “fear” that holds me back, the happier I become. I think that we all have fears in different aspects of life. I find freedom and passion when I let go of fear.
A big thing for me was worrying or caring about what others think. Or needing some type of validation from people. Not that I have quit caring about the opinions of others. But I’m confident enough now that I live completely authentically. I respect the opinions of the people I love. I stay humble. I always stay true to myself though.
Understanding that we are all just trying to make it in this world. We all put our pants on the same way as they say.
I welcome mistakes and failure because I have found that I grow from it. I become a better person through learning from my mistakes and failures.
